Swimming… ow! OW! OW! Jellyfish!

So I took this weekend trip and we SLEPT two nights ON A BOAT! It was really fun, but I got seasick. So we took a ferry from Saint Thomas,(Saint Thomas is one of the US Virgin Islands.) To St. John,(Another US Virgin Island.) but I got really hungry because We didn’t have a lot of food. So it was really rough on the ferry. There were a big waves. Finally, we got there, and met our captain, his name was Cliff. The person who managed the rest of the boat, her name is Amanda. We got there got settled, Had dinner, then we went to bed. I had my own room! And my own bathroom! The next day I got up early and then me and my mom started playing Monopoly.

Then, once we all got up, we finally went to our first place. It was pretty cool, and then we started getting into the water, and guess what. I. SAW. A. STINGRAY!

It was really cool! 🆒 we started swimming around, We went to the corner of the little Bay we were in, And I saw a dark sheep. And my dad said it’s a turtle! We were swimming after it, but it was really fast.(I don’t have a picture of that) Then Camden accidentally dropped her mask and then forgot where she dropped it, so we were searching all over I checked in the Coral, I peeked my head in, and I saw a moray eel. Also known as a wolf eel. Then, after lunch, we went to the second place,(Oh, we found Camden’s mask.) When we got to the second place, We swam around, and Saw more stingrays. then,WE. SAW. AN. EAGLERAY!(For those who don’t know, an eagle ray is a rare type of spotted stingray.

After we took a break, then, my dad saw a sea turtle with a remora! A remora is a type of fish, that literally sticks on other fish. It has like a suction head, and it sticks on sharks turtles and rays. Then, after there was a big storm, and, we had to get everything out of the water. Then, my dad caught a Bolt of lightning on camera. It was really cool.

Then The next day, we had to go. But, we had a few hours before, so we went to a small island, swam ashore, and played there. But while I was swimming back to the boat, suddenly I felt something sting me, in between the pinky, and fourth finger. I lifted my hand up and I saw this red Barb. Suddenly I felt it on my arms too. you know When your foot falls asleep, it’s like someone’s poking You gently, with a toothpick. Well, this was like twenty times worse. When I got back, cliff had to scrape the barbs off with a credit card. We finally got back to the airport. And that is the end of my trip.
